Symbolism

Believing that every thing has meaing is the point that must be most clear. I have found that if you give attention to Holy spirit it will dispurse answers to our concerns. It will show up to provide comfort even without our asking.

On one not so sunny and bright day, Greay sky padded with hazed clouds appeared a bright orange and black butterfly.
I had just pondered a few days prior upon the past seven years as I went from Rhode Island back to my birthplace of Boston and eventually to the state of Texas.

Notes: (continue) Look up the colors<(meaning)> of the butterfly.

ie; what does orange symbolize? What does a butterfly symbolize?
-What does it mean when a bird comes very close to you and stays close to you?

Reference: days condition in November why would there be a butterfly

It is surely a sign of the time. The time for all mankind to realize that no one man is an island. We need one another. The worlds failed economy effects many people but "WHO" cares about individual circumstances but GOD? The destiny set for everyone is success. However that success is sometimes spiritual rather than financial. Sometimes it is coupled.

Checking In.. "Thoughts"

Hope that today you are rejuvinated and doing your thing! Just wanted to check on you and let you know that we are never alone in how we feel. We can all relate. When you are not going through someone else is. Therefore the effect of challenge is familiar to us all.

Seasons come to give us a physical manifestation. At times the wave makes us feel almost sea sick and weary but, this too shall pass.

Stay strong, recognize that you are Blessed because you have today to make a difference. Sometimes that difference while not being felt in your life is being felt from you in anothers! Keep nothing but, goodness in mind because all is well amidst the storm.

"What it look like"

ones exterior should be a reflection of what’s inside them. We know that we are made in the image and likeness of God. This alone tells us that we are perfectly and wonderfully made. Should we not illustrate this in our outer appearance? If you are pondering this question; the answer is yes.
Now, I don’t propose materialistic defines of ones being, rather spiritual content of ones overall character.
In other words if one lives a spiritual lifestyle then , it will be evident and beyond the body.

Have you ever heard someone refer to their body as their temple? We know that a temple is considered a place of worship. It is a place deserving of edification. How do we edify the body? We should feed it healthy and nutritious foods, like vegetables, whole grains, protein and water. We should bathe it, with natural soaps and lubricate it with pure oils and fine lotions and cologne. Finally, we should decorate it ,so that we look like we care about ourselves. Now let me park here parenthetically for a moment; Clothes do not equal happiness, neither are garments of any kind indicative of having it all together. However, if one is spiritually grounded then they are happy and this will be reflected in how they look before they step outside their door.

Certainly, when time is given to grooming ones hair, coordinating fashion and style of ones clothing this says; not just that we look nice. Also, that we are reflections of Godly beings and want the world to know it!

It is impossible to be made in the likeness and image of God and look a mess. That is why being made in HIS IMAGE lends responsibility to an individual to care about the overall being of the body mind and spirit.

Ask yourself do I look how I feel, or do I feel how I look? Your answer will tell you if your interior and exterior are married to one another.

Remember the only one that can present the best you is you.

God Bless

Experiences

There is that old saying: "Life is like a box of Chocolates, you never know what you might get."

I love chocolate. Who ever thinks of chocolate as a metaphor for possibility?
You can be in search of one thing yet, the universe proves to guide us in the direction that is needed for spiritual growth. As life unveils this is evident more and more.
Yesterday, while in search of one experience, I received so much more than expected.

I mean, here I am at a specified business appointment and I meet someone who simply
camped out in my spirit. Without knowing that I would hear from God, I did.
There is just no way that the universe aligns with you so timely least it be in it's will.
Sometimes, when we think that it's over or, that we are not going to achieve what we set out to; simply because we've placed a time period on it, the Lord will use another human being who knows absolutely nothing about you to remind you to keep moving.
Someone to remind you that just because the "IT" is not generating the result hoped, does not mean that it will not be.

It is so true that often times one must take steps backwards to move forward.

If you have lost a job, a friend, your home, your car or;
if you have worked on a project for the past twenty years that does not seem to be getting off the ground. Just keep going. DO NOT GIVE UP! Perserverence is the key to success.

Nothing happens prematurely and everything that is persued, passionately and persistently happens! This is a hint now you must find a clue.

Blessings,

Short & seep

Sometimes fecundity brings
loneliness
People are afraid of it
yet seek that very delivery
of truth
Makes them run for cover

Run away from the birth
Naked she stands
Mother of deliverance
Brown skin
full lips
undelayed words

subtracted isms
sacrificially embellished
and the thing is
she dont't mind
No she don't mind at all-

Shared Page

Like a good book, my life is entering yet another chapter. There is a table of contents that direct me. I am climbing the stairwell of guided words and forming powerful sentences that make sense and; create Pathways to the conscience of phases and phrases that make me Najai. Born to be the grafiti on lifes wall bearing colorful ink that too tell my story-

Muscular Destiny

As sure as life precedes so should we. Many years have been spent trying to understand the meaning of life and ones purpose in it. On this most will agree. Yet, there comes a time when every question settles comfortably on the pillow of acceptance. I've not seen even the most humble, faithful and God fearing one without a turn on the pain train of life.

When it rains you can best believe that it rains on all.

The same can be said for the sunshine. So what are the options in response to seemingly unbearable incomprehensible circumstances? The one thing that I have always notated is that "Attitude is Everything."
No. We are not robotic creatures programed to quickly compute and output the right response. However our learned reactions can be changed by exercising the power of choice.

There are a few necessary principle muscles that must be flexed in order for this to work and result positively. The first is the belief muscle- You are what you decide you are. Not what you have been taught to be or what you saw growing up. When in childhood a lot of times we were shown not so good coping skills.

If dad walked out of the house after an argument with mom we saw her bitter. Sometimes yelling and screaming or sending us to our room when we did not deserve to be isolated from the rest of the house. We had done nothing wrong.

If there was a lost income perhaps there was a demonstrated dependency on substance abuse (drinking alcohol) in order to numb the pain of all the concerns that losing ones job might generate.

The better response for both misfortunes would have been, for the parents to adopt a positive mindset and say to the family "We will get through this" and begin the footwork to do so.
Most of us would have been better programmed emotionally if when parents disagreed they talked about it without anger and committed to finding a solution that benefits the entire family. It would have enabled the children to see two adults working together maturely and healthy therefore, reinforcing the children's security and safety in the home.

The second muscle that must be flexed is the willingness muscle-One must want and be willing to do and be better than the things that they find distasteful about the past. Now of course there are tendons and ligaments that help muscles to perform at their best. The willingness muscle releases it's highest optimization when coupled with honesty and determination. A great way to start is to do some soul searching.
This brings us to the third and most important muscle the courage muscle. The reason that this is the most important of the three is because belief and willingness stand on the shoulder of courage. Only bravery can stimulate the belief that one can make a change and only courage can walk one through the door of willingness and determination.

One can believe something is right but never do what is right. One can be willing and determined but, never exercise their willingness or determination with a course of action.

Courage exonerates us and produces results.

Remember the story of the Wizard of OZ?
Dorothy, Tin man and Lion all wanted something from the Wizard.

Their shared belief, willingness and determination took them on a long journey in which they encountered many obstacles. Eventually they made it to the Wizards place only to find that the Wizard is a phony. This angered the Lion so much that he courageously stood up to the Wizard. His courage earned the desired reward for all of them and their lives were forever changed for the better.

Remember Winners never quit and quitters never win. It helps knowing that it rains on every one and when the sun comes out; it too shines on all. Will you continue to complain and be gloomy on a sunny day because of the rain that fell yesterday or, will you enjoy today's sunshine? It is a choice and only you can courageously decide.

You not your past determines your tomorrow.
